Holding a Master’s degree in economics and being a trained business journalist,  Carsten Tilger started his professional career with Hoechst AG in 1997. In 2000 he became Head of Global Media Relations and in 2003 Head of Corporate Communi-cations of Aventis SA, France. Before assuming the position as Head of Corporate Communications of Syngenta AG, Switzerland, in 2006, he headed Corporate Com-munications at Kabel Deutschland.
