Votre rôle

The Sonderhoff group of companies are part of Henkel since 2017 and operates in 3 areas: develop and produce chemical gasketing, potting and gluing systems based on polyurethane, silicone or PVC; develop mixing and dosing machines and automation; offer a complete range of services – from the production of individual sample parts, through pilot series and small batches, right up to series production on a production scale. Due to growth, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager in order to cover and expand the French market:

  • Sales responsibility
  • Support for all clients commercially and technically in the assigned area in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Responsible for turnover and results in the assigned sales area
  • Support key clients and set up relations to the decision-makers in the assigned area
  • Research and acquisition of new clients in the assigned sales area
  • Development and realization of customer-specific process solutions in close cooperation with the customer
  • Preparation of offers as well as contract negotiation and after sales service

  • Sales accounting and organization
  • Ensuring completeness and correctness of project-relevant data in the CRM systems
  • Preparing forecasts, monthly and annual sales and budget planning
  • Responsible for the timely submission of monthly reports as well as call reports
  • Other tasks as specified by the Regional Sales Manager

  • Participation in trade fairs: participation, support in organizing

Vos compétences

  • Technical university degree, business engineer (Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineering / Industrial Engineering or Chemistry)
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience with 1 successful experience in the sales of technical equipment, automation or machines
  • Good business understanding
  • High technical competence and understanding of mechanical process / process technology or automation solutions
  • Ideally knowledge of machine construction, preferably in the field (mixing and dosing systems, automation, injection molding etc.)
  • Experience with CRM systems and MS-Office
  • Very good knowledge of French and English (additionally German is an advantage)
