TCS Engineer EIMEA Surface Treatment – Adhesive Technologies Aerospace H/F

As a Technical Customer Service Manager (TCS), you will interface regularly with the necessary operational levels of the Aerospace organization and with the relevant Materials & Process, Quality and manufacturing groups at aerospace customers in EIMEA.
In this role, you will assist to field sales calls, to make technical presentations, solve problems, coordinate qualification test programs, help defining product and sales development opportunities, to assist in product implementation and for training.
You are the technical focal point in the Henkel Aerospace EIMEA organization for aerospace technical customer support on Henkel technologies supporting the Sales team, performing spec reviews and quality related trouble shooting, driving qualification processes at customers and continuously assessing market / technology developments.

Your main tasks are as follow:

  • Providing common tools for line audits and state-of-the-art customer visits
  • Catching up new trends and providing regional market information to global counterpart, including competition survey
  • Organizing training for regional/local TCS, sales teams and customers on products and technologies
  • Coaching and developing regional functional coatings TCS team
  • Implementing strategic long-term solutions for market-wide product complaints
  • Providing expert support regionally in Functional Coatings chemical application and processing
  • Liaising between sales, marketing, product development and the customer to identify customer application solutions


  • University degree in engineering or inorganic/organic chemistry
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in technical customer service with a preferred background in aerospace 
  • Expertise in adhesives and/or surface treatment applications 
  • At least 2 years proven experience as team leader
  • Good conceptual thinker and excellent communicator with sense of ownership and initiative
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 40% of the time)
  • Fluent in English and French
