Adhesive Technologies earns prestigious awards from customers

Innovation, quality, and successful collaborations built on strategic partnerships have made Henkel a world leader in adhesives. Those same qualities have helped the Adhesive Technologies business earn several prestigious awards from some of its key customers.

BD Partnership Award

Becton Dickinson, a medical device company, recently awarded Henkel with its 2018 Partnership Supplier of the Year award. The award recognizes Henkel’s support of BD’s purpose in advancing the world of health. Several noteworthy efforts helped the Henkel team earn this award, including superior performance, continuous improvement, and customer service, demonstrated by uninterrupted production during and following Hurricane Maria.

Ford Quality Award

Ford Motor Company has recognized Henkel as one of the ChEP 100 Best Managed Companies with outstanding quality performance in 2018. The award recognizes perfect quality ‏(zero defects) for adhesives provided by Henkel’s manufacturing site in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, and used at Ford’s engine plant in Chihuahua, Mexico.

General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award

Henkel’s Richmond, Missouri, manufacturing team recently earned the General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award for 2018. Only top-performing supplier manufacturing sites that meet stringent quality performance criteria and demonstrate cross-functional support across the entire GM organization are eligible to receive this award.

Honda Quality/Delivery Award

Also this spring, Honda awarded its Quality/Delivery Award to Henkel for outstanding performance in 2018. Of more than 860 Honda suppliers in North America, only 15 received the honor. Henkel’s partnership with Honda North America dates back 40 years.
