About this Position

Corporate Security is part of Henkel’s Infrastructure department. It fulfills a governance role within the organization to ensure protection of Henkel’s employees (at the workplace and during business trips), sites (offices, factories, warehouses, etc.), brands, reputation, information and other physical assets against security risks and threats. Security is considered an integral part of Henkel’s business.

We offer an internship for a period of 6 months to a highly motivated and talented student. The internship at Henkel’s headquarters in Düsseldorf provides a great opportunity to make practical and creative use of the knowledge gained at university. It gives the chance to become part of a dynamic and international Corporate Security team of a global industry player

What you´ll do

  • Steering own projects as well as supporting the team in day-to-day business
  • Support in the development of security-management-systems with project related tasks
  • Project work in the field of security governance to advance existing security guidelines and procedures
  • Membership in a dynamic and international security team that supports Henkel in all regions
  • Opportunity to get to know different functions and departments at Henkel 

What makes you a good fit

  • Student, who has successfully completed first semesters of studies focused on security management, political science, risk management, safety engineering, IT or a similar course of study
  • First practical or international experiences in project management and policy writing ,e.g. internships, students initiatives, semester abroad)is appreciated
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • A proactive, passionate, analytical team player, full of energy and willing to take on responsibilities quickly
  • Convincing personality with strong communication and presentation skills

We offer you an attractive salary between €1.050-2.420 gross per month. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
